THE INCIDENT ROOM takes us into the middle of one of the biggest manhunts in British police history, the desperate search for the notorious Yorkshire Ripper. The play follows Sergeant Megan Winterburn as she works alongside hundreds of officers to catch the elusive killer, with the pressure mounting from the public and the media.
THE INCIDENT ROOM explores the wider issues of misogyny and institutional negligence that surrounded the case, both at the time and in the present day. With a sharp focus on the experiences of women and the impact of violence against them, OLD FRUIT JAR PRODUCTIONS presents a powerful and thought-provoking exploration of a pivotal moment in British history.
